Let's Get Started:
This effort is 100% voluntary.
You send your support, and maybe some stuff, directly to whatever unit or units YOU select.
|| We have volunteer Airman
"contacts" on the "Where To Send" page. They list what the folks they represent want and need. Click through the names and YOU select who YOU wish to support, then YOU send direct to them. We have a unique search capability so you can easily identify what the troops need, who you wish to support, etc.
All the Airmen
involved in this effort are military volunteers stationed in areas that are overseas. You send your support (letters and/or packages) addressed to them and when they see the "Attn: Any Airman®"
line in their address they put your letters and packages into the hands of Airmen
who don't get much or any mail first. Everything is shared.
PLEASE read the entire web site before you send anything, then START SMALL.
Please, never start a drive or collection unless you have sent packages yourself first.
We want you to be informed and comfortable with this effort.
Thank you for your support!
|Sergeant Brian Horn, then an Army Infantry Soldier with the 173rd Airborne Brigade, was in the Kirkuk area of Iraq when he asked his parents for even more care packages. He agreed to distribute the packages that came to him with "Attn: Any Soldier®" in his address to soldiers who didn't get much or any mail.
Brian later completed a tour in Afghanistan and is now home.
continues much larger than ever with supporters world-wide!
Any Soldier Inc. started in August 2003 as a simple family effort to help the soldiers in one Army unit; thus, our name. Due to overwhelming requests the Any Soldier® effort was expanded to include any deployed member of the U.S. Armed Forces.

||The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence is awarded to the members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness. These standards include those required by the US Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world. Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 percent, meet or exceed these standards, and, of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this Seal.|
Any Soldier Inc. is proud to be one of them!
